Tendil ("Tendil", "we", "us") is a calm, energy-aware to-do app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices. Tendil is a productivity tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical or clinical advice.

We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only as needed with providers who process it on our behalf. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data with safeguards equal to or greater than those we apply ourselves.
Tendil uses OpenAI, a third-party AI service, to help you organize your tasks. Before sending any data, the app asks for your explicit consent. Here is exactly what we send and why:

What we do NOT send: your email address, password, push token, energy level, nag preferences, subscription status, or analytics data.
How OpenAI handles your data: Under our API agreement with OpenAI, your data is not used to train or improve OpenAI's models. OpenAI retains API inputs/outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which they are deleted. Full details are in OpenAI's API data usage policies.
Voice capture is optional. When used, audio is sent to our transcription provider to produce text; we keep what's needed to create your tasks. You can always type instead.
We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records (e.g. for legal or tax reasons).
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per-user, and secrets are stored server-side only. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Tendil is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your data may be processed in countries other than yours by the providers listed above, with appropriate safeguards.
We may update this policy; we'll post the new date here and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
